1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair announces the anticipated return of the New York fair from 18-21 May 2023.

1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair, the leading international art fair dedicated to contemporary art from Africa and the African diaspora, is delighted to announce its return to New York set to take place from 18 – 21 May 2023. The return of 1-54 New York will see an international line-up of 26 galleries presenting the work of over 80 artists from Africa and its diaspora.

The 2023 New York edition will welcome 23 exhibitors, including seven galleries from the African continent. 1-54 New York will move to a new location in Harlem. The venue is located in Manhattanville, a recently renovated brewery at the heart of the famous 127th Street populated by arts and cultural venues.
