For its eighth edition, the Also Known As Africa fair (AKAA) returns to Paris under the artistic direction of veteran curator Armelle Dakouo.
In addition to gallery presentations, special projects will be on display including a monumental installation by artist Cosmo Whyte reflecting on the presentation of “Black bodies protesting the boundaries of society,” which invites viewers to “critically examine the relationship between architecture, power, and the Black experience.”
