The 13th edition of 1‑54 Contemporary African Art Fair returns to Somerset House in London from 16–19 October 2025. As the leading global art fair dedicated to contemporary art from Africa and its diaspora, 1‑54 has become a fixture on the international art calendar.

Since its launch in 2013, the fair has built a reputation for showcasing the diversity and depth of African artistic expression, connecting galleries, collectors, and curators across London, New York, Marrakech, and Paris.

This year’s edition will once again transform the historic Somerset House into a hub for vibrant visual storytelling and cross-cultural exchange. While full details are still forthcoming, previous editions featured over 60 galleries—including strong representation from across Africa—as well as site-specific installations, talks, and global partnerships.

1‑54 offers more than market visibility—it invites critical dialogue around identity, history, and creativity on the continent and beyond. With its growing reach and influence, the London edition is set to be another meaningful moment in contemporary African art.
