'El Anatsui is responsible for some of the most unique and unforgettable sculptures in recent times and we are delighted that he will tackle the Turbine Hall this autumn for the annual Hyundai Commission,' said Frances Morris, Director of Tate Modern.

What Anatsui plans to do for the commission has not yet been announced, though those that know the artist’s work may have a good idea of what to expect. However, the commission will be curated by Tate Modern's Osei Bonsu and Dina Akhmadeeva.The museum’s publishing arm also plans to produce a book about the project.
